My name is Francine and I’m raising funds to help my Alma Mater, Rusea’s High School in Jamaica, recover after the devastating Hurricane Melissa. The storm has caused severe damage to both the main and second site, affecting classrooms, facilities, and the lives of students and staff who call Rusea’s home.

Rusea’s High has been a cornerstone of secondary education and community in the western part of the island for generations, shaping the futures of countless young people—including mine. Seeing the destruction has been heartbreaking, and I feel compelled to help however I can.

My goal is to raise at least £2,000 to support the rebuilding of one of the school’s faculties. The funds will go toward repair materials, classroom restoration and essential supplies to help teachers and students get back on their feet.

I completely understand that times are hard for everyone, which is why any amount helps—even £1 makes a difference. Every donation brings us closer to restoring hope and rebuilding.
