On Friday, August 9, 2024, two very close friends of ours, Ron and Marie Houghtaling, experienced a tragic life-changing event. That day, out of the blue, a flash flood hit the southern tier where they live. Ron and Marie lost everything that day, including their home with all their belongings in it. Their neighbor next-door was able to save four of the five horses plus 2-4 month old foals, but one mare that is bred is still missing.

This GoFundMe is to help raise some money for them to try to put the pieces of their lives back together, as much as they can. As of today, the house has officially been condemned, and everything has been considered a total loss. Thank you for any help that you can provide.
