I am creating this GoFundMe for my mom, Rebecca McCarthy. My mom was recently the victim of wire fraud , and they were able to clear out her entire life savings. My mother is retired and worked her whole life to save some money so she could survive after retirement. We have been working with the bank and the police, and unfortunately, they were not able to recover any of her money. Although we are still trying, these scam artists are incredibly smart and have completely left no trace. Our mother was left with literally nothing to her name. We are trying to figure out how she will be able to survive month to month. At this time, she has no money for bills, food, or any basic living expenses. We have been praying that somehow the funds could be recovered, but so far, there is no information for the police or bank to follow. We are doing everything we can to help her, but we don't have the means to take on another household. This is our last resort. I am asking my friends and family , that if you can, please help my mom. This is the only thing I could think of. I know many of us are not able to afford to spare much, but anything helps. We are putting our faith in God and hoping there will be some kind of miracle, but as of now, there has been no new information on who did this and how they did this. Prayers are much appreciated.
