Restore Hope for Patrick Clark's Home and Health

Greetings,

My name is Patrick Clark.

I do not like telling people my private problems, but now I have no choice.

I use a wheelchair at home and crutches when I must go out. My wife died on 7/17/24, and I received a pacemaker last month. Once upon a time, I had a thriving company called ClarkHomeRemodeling.com.

In 2020, I had a heart catheterization when the doctor nicked a nerve coming out. Now, I cannot lift my right foot over 12 inches, and with the way I walked then, I wore out my right hip, which is scheduled for replacement after I lose 30 lbs. My left meniscus needs to be scoped again because I use my left leg to go up and down stairs, and that is not a pretty sight.

The reason I'm asking for help is because I do not have homeowners insurance and cannot get one until I put a new roof on and get my tools out of the garage.

When the storm came through, a tree fell, damaged the roof, and pulled off all my electrical. The breaker box is trashed, and the tree destroyed my neighbor's car and work trailer.

My hot water heater died a week before the storm but was under warranty, so I'm waiting for them to install it. Not that I have power for it to work.

Cannot do any electric work until the roof is fixed. No place to mount the pole. It's cool at night, so I can sleep. No power for my CPAP, so I'm waking up around 3-4 AM with a lovely migraine.

I'm filing for my Social Security, but it will be months before I receive any relief.

There are a lot of people worse off than me, but if you can help in any way, it will be appreciated.
