This gofundme is created on behalf of Pam Houston-Nettles, who works at a Charlotte County Public Schools here in Florida.

In the later hours on September 26th, Pam and her family endured the storm surge caused by Hurricane Helene.  The rising waters not only damaged the house they lived in, it also caused the family to lose all of the furniture, appliances, some personal belongings, and 2 cars. With her daughter and granddaughter at her side, they attempted to save what they could only to lose again as Hurricane Milton hit the coastline just 2 weeks later.

Pam has worked with the children of Charlotte County for well over a decade, including area schools such as Neil Armstrong, Kingsway, and Sallie Jones Elementary in Punta Gorda, Florida. Her love and expertise in helping student with speech and language disabilities has been appreciated by many students, parents, and coworkers.

Pam is a loved coworker and friend who has always put herself out to help others. Please consider supporting Pam’s family during this time.
