Restore Hope for Our Displaced Family

Hi, Everyone!

We are Lindsey and Austin Casiano and our family has been displaced by Hurricane Helene. We were able to safely evacuate our hometown of Asheville, NC on 9/27/24 with our two dogs, Zola and Axel. We still have three pets (two snakes and a tarantula) that are stuck at our home in the mountains. We hope to rescue and reunite with them as soon as possible.

Asheville, NC and surrounding areas have been destroyed by the storm. Our dwelling has sustained significant water damage and our septic system no longer exists. Repairs and restoration of power, water service, and septic to our home will likely take months and we are not sure when we will be able to safely return. We are currently staying with family in Winston Salem, NC.

At this point, our family's future feels uncertain. We appreciate any support or stability that is offered to us during this harrowing time.
