On Monday morning, January 6, 2025 the winter storm caused catastrophic damage to the home of Michael and Kym Ray. A tree that was once marked for removal by the owners of Shadowwood MHP was left standing and the weight of the ice sent it crashing through the roof leaving their home destroyed beyond repair. The Mercer County Emergency Director surveyed the damage and stated it was a total loss.

Mike and Kym are small business owners in Princeton, WV. They own and operate 4Wheel Mike’s, a vehicle modification shop where they do everything from lifting trucks to crash repair to custom paint work. They are avid in their gifting to the community and always ready to help anyone in need. Kym has helped provide Christmas for many years to the children and women in the McDowell County Women’s Shelter and they are partners with the Make a Wish Foundation where they’ve done a complete truck makeover for a teenage boy.
