Restore Hope for Lynn Andrew After the Storm

There are so many still hurting and struggling after Helene and Milton. Homes lost, cars destroyed, lifetimes of memories in crumbles. My name is Lisa Hennessy and I'm reaching out on behalf of my friend, Lynn Andrew. We live in the Tampa Bay Area in Florida that was hit by severe flooding during the storms. I understand that not much news coverage has been seen on the devastation, but you can simply do a Google search to find images. Over a month later, and the scenes haven't changed all that much in certain areas, unfortunately.

I know Lynn personally and she is in danger of losing her home since FEMA has cut back on assistance to those in need. Her home was flooded, her car, as well. She is now displaced as she had to vacate her home with her animals as the water seeped up into the walls, lifting her floors and creating mold making the home uninhabitable. There is a ton of red, bureaucratic tape she must tear through and it may take months, if not years, to come to a solution. This incredible woman owns her own small business and must actually work each day to get paid to survive, leaving her next to no time to focus on getting her life back in order.

It's not normally "my thing" to create such an ask as a GoFundMe, but in this circumstance, I felt compelled to try and give back somehow to an individual who I personally know is suffering and to feel confident funds will actually go where needed.
