Hi, I’m Rachelle, and I’m a friend of Katie Steward’s.
After 34 years of severe ME, since she was just 14, Katie went into remission at a point where it was becoming difficult to sustain her life. Recovery at this stage from severe ME is incredibly rare.
That recovery only happened because she was finally able to live in a clean, controlled environment away from mould and chemicals that trigger her illness.
But the trailer that made this possible was lost in a fire. Without replacing it, Katie will soon be homeless, and for her, that is immediately life-threatening.
This fundraiser is to replace that trailer. Please help us restore the only conditions that have ever allowed her to survive and recover.
As you can see from the video, she has been through an extraordinary amount and has never stopped fighting.
