Dear Friends and Kind Strangers,

Due to the unfortunate negligence of my housemate a house fire has destroyed much of our home. Items belonging directly to me that weren't completely destroyed, melted, smoke damaged, or damaged by the water from the firefighters were looted in two separate raids after the fire while I was away caring for my visually impaired mother. All of my clothes, 15 years+ of the soccer jerseys, towels, blankets, appliances, TVs, books, you name it, are damaged or gone. Most of everything that was potentially salvageable was looted in break-ins. Gym bags, shoes, my bicycle, etc. Nothing has went untouched.

I'm now facing what seems to be an insurmountable challenge of starting over from scratch, rebuilding my life and finding a new place to call home. Those of you that know me personally know asking for help is the absolute last thing that I want to do but this is a weight I can't lift without assistance so I'm reaching out to my community for support during this emotionally gutting time.

All of your donations will go directly toward helping me get back on my feet. (Clothing, furniture, appliances, hotel expenses, storage, etc.)
