Help Us Rebuild After Losing Our Home in a Fire
Hello, my name is Josh and my fiancée’s name is Cheyenne. On the night of August 8th, 2025, at around 9:30 pm, our lives changed in an instant. A fire broke out in the apartment behind ours, quickly spreading through our roof and vents. Within moments, it consumed our kitchen, living room, and much of our bedrooms.
We lost so much: our tables, chairs, couches, televisions, gaming consoles, computers, tablets. Even our bedsheets, walls, and floors are now caked in soot, the roof is gone, and smoke damage has ruined nearly everything else. What wasn’t burned was collapsed upon, melted, or made unsafe to keep.
Now, we’re left with nothing but the clothes we had that night and a few belongings that need to be placed in storage. We have to find temporary housing, cover displacement expenses, and somehow begin replacing the essentials we need for day-to-day life — all while still facing our regular bills and debts.
We’re doing our best to stay strong, but we can’t do this alone. If you can give, no matter the amount, you’ll be helping us take real steps toward rebuilding our lives. If you can’t donate, even sharing this page helps more than you know.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping us rise from these ashes.
— Josh & Cheyenne
