Help a Beloved Piano Teacher Rebuild Her Life

Hi, my name is Iggy, and I’m reaching out during this season of giving to ask for your help for someone very dear to my family. My kids' piano teacher Jackie Ricks, who has been a source of inspiration and joy for so many children in our community, is going through an unimaginably tough time.

A few days ago, her house tragically caught fire, destroying not only her home but also the cherished piano she used to teach her students. To make matters even more heartbreaking, her husband passed away just days before this devastating event.

Adding to the challenges she’s facing, she did not have house fire insurance, leaving her with no financial safety net to begin rebuilding her life.

This Christmas, while many of us are surrounded by warmth and family, she is facing an overwhelming loss—her home, her livelihood, and her partner in life.

She has given so much to our children, nurturing their love for music and brightening their lives with her talent and kindness. Now, it’s our turn to give back.

We are raising funds to help her rebuild her life:

Provide her with immediate support for housing, clothing, and basic needs.

Help her replace her piano so she can continue sharing the gift of music with her students.

Ease some of the financial burden during this incredibly difficult time.
