Restore Hope for Grey: Overcome Financial Crisis

Hello, my name is Max. Someone I love very dearly is in dire financial straits. Their name is Grey, and for a long time, they kept their circumstances from me.

Grey is a beautiful and lovely person who has emotionally and financially supported me through so much. If anyone deserves to be taken care of in return, it's them. Grey is also disabled in a few ways. At one point, they had a job they were able to manage, and eventually, they got two jobs out of need, but after the traumatic death of their mother, they couldn't handle it anymore. They had to go back to living with their family.

About a year ago, they got into a relationship with someone who would turn out to be a scam artist. This scam artist got a hold of Grey's credit card information and ruined their reputation with a bank, who is now threatening to sue for over $9000. They've looked everywhere and cannot find a lawyer to help them with this fraud for less than $2000 (which, of course, Grey does not have).

On top of all of this, their unemployment card was stolen from their mail, and they now owe over $2000 for money they never even got to have their hands on.

My dear friend is broken down. They don't feel they can handle any of this anymore, and even in telling me about all of this for the first time, they couldn't help but cry and dissociate from everything that's gone wrong for them.

Please help me. I cannot dig them out of this hole alone, nor can their family. Please restore my dear Grey back from this shell of a person they have become. Please save my friend.
