Hurricane Melissa has devastated several communities across my home country of Jamaica, including the one where I was born and raised. My name is Ryan Silvera, an employee of MSHS Pacific Power Group, where I am a level 3 Service Engineer. Half my family still resides in Jamaica, including my mother, 3 brothers, and a sister. Fortunately, they were not severely impacted by Hurricane Melissa, but others weren't as fortunate, and they are the reason for me being here today. I have a voice to reach the ones that can help the most and I will swallow my pride and plead for help on their behalf.

Many families have lost their homes, schools have suffered severe damage, and access to essentials such as clean water, food, and basic communication has been severed, and medical supplies remain limited.

This fundraiser aims to provide direct relief and recovery support to affected families, friends, teachers, and students by supplying emergency food kits, water, building materials, and school restoration assistance. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help restore stability and a sense of hope to people who are struggling to rebuild their lives after this disaster.

Your support will go directly toward local relief coordination, which I will personally oversee to ensure that aid reaches those who need it most. Together, we can help these communities recover, showing that the rest of the world stands with them and inspiring that continual love, heart, and joy we all have come to know whilst vacationing in Jamaica.
