I wasn't really sure how to set this up, but felt compelled to ask for support. For my friends closest to me, you might know of my brother Danny. I don't share that often because it's upsetting, but he has had a lifetime of challenges. A lifetime of depressions, afflictions, mental unwellness and beyond. It has been such a sadness and challenge for my family too; trying to help a struggling person navigate a lot of challenges in our "system". The last year he has shown some good improvements with a stable job.

June 8th, I learned that he had visited two different retail places to find two tires that he needed for his car. After getting the tires replaced, he was in an accident and now his car is gone. The loss of this car is literally the only material thing that he has to his name. I don't think he could afford much insurance, so liability will only cover damages to other property.

His car accident is so disappointing in a time where I have seem him trying to struggle to just stay afloat day by day and find the capacity to keep moving.

If you have the means to support anything, I am going to ensure that this money helps him get back to a car quickly so it doesn't have an increased impact on his mental wellness as he struggles to move forward.
