Restore Hope for Chris, Cassey, and Kids

On May the 12th, a house fire claimed every single possession of a local family. Chris Ketcham and Cassey Granados, along with 2 beautiful children have lost everything. They have absolutely no clothing, shoes, toiletries, food, and unfortunately all their lifelong possessions. Saturday May 10th, Athena (8) had her bounce-house birthday party. Two days before losing her gifts. Her little sister Anastasia (4) is just to young to understand what's happening. This family is struggling to figure out what to do, day by day.

Chris is a local fisherman, and his family has owned this home and land for 4 generations in the Ketcham family. Their 1990 home is on that family land that thankfully wasn’t damaged. The entire home is a total loss. They’re still trying to navigate this tragedy. Between the insurance company and Red Cross, the time frame for immediate support is undetermined. There are so many expenses and necessities that are needed for this family to recover.

The salvageable items are less than what can fit inside one vehicle and are so heavily charred with ashes, soot, and smoke; they may not be salvageable at all. I am asking this community to come together in this ‘call to action’! Any support, monetary or otherwise would be so overwhelmingly appreciated. They are getting more information each day about how to move forward from this tragedy.

They are currently staying at my house in Denison (613 W Parnell St.), and can receive donations directly. Please, help use discretion with drop offs.
