Restore Hope for Carol and James After Devastation

Hello, I am CAROL LATRELLA and my husband of 41 years is JAMES LATRELLA. We live in buncombe county North Carolina. On the 27th of September a devastating hurricane, helene came through our area with a vengence. Our rental home was damaged when two old trees came through the roof. One in the 2nd floor bathroom and the other through our living room ceiling breaking the windows and the water sent our ceiling falling in. We not only lost our home but also our furniture and clothing. All our belongings are covered in asbestos dust and everything smells musty and moldy. I tried finding a storage unit but there we none available. Most were damaged by mud and water and the others were full. We were blessed to stay with our friend Janet Peterson. But we can only stay a few more weeks then we will not have anywhere to go. I cannot afford the rents here and I not only lost my restaurant job due to flooding but I have also lost my job cleaning vacation rentals due to the fact noone is going to travel here now. I need funds to get a new start, possibly in another state. I'm trying to find a home we can afford and all donations will go for a down payment on our FIRST HOME. My husband and I also need new furniture and personal belongings. This is why I am asking for your help at this time. Thank you and GOD bless.
