Emergency Fire Relief for Alison and Robert Wojtowicz

On the night of February 14, 2025, a devastating fire ripped through the home of my brother, Robert, and his family. The fire began in the freestanding garage, trapping Robert and his friend inside with the flames. By the Grace of God, they managed to escape unharmed, but due to strong winds, the fire quickly spread to the rest of the house. Robert was able to get everyone out of the house as it began to burn. Firefighters fought for four hours to contain the blaze, but by the time it was under control, their home and all of their belongings were destroyed.

In what seemed like an instant, they had lost everything—irreplaceable memories, important documents, keepsakes, and all of the toys and clothes of their two young children, ages 5 and 2. The emotional and financial toll is unfathomable.

Robert and his family are now left to rebuild their lives from nothing. The four of them, as well as their two dogs, are now living out of a hotel room. He will be out of work for several weeks as they sort through the devastation and look for more permanent shelter to live. I'm reaching out on their behalf for support to help them navigate this incredibly difficult time.
