Restore Hope for a Homeless Mother and Kids
Donation protected
I was reading an article in the Waukesha Freeman about a homeless lady and her 2 teenage children and God put it on my heart to help this family in this tough time in her life. Growing up, I myself have been in this situation and it’s embarrassing as a teenager and hard on the mother. I do not know the full story but she is trying to get a job in Milwaukee as a teacher but had no transportation to get to her interviews. It doesn’t matter what her circumstances are all I know is it’s our duty as human beings to help our fellow brothers and sisters out. I try to imagine myself in her position. We are all very blessed to have the simple things like shelter, transportation, warm beds, food, etc. We take all these for granted not knowing with one tragic event this could be us. This family didn’t ask to be in this position and with our help we together can affect their lives in a positive way. I’m not sure what they all need but I know she doesn’t have a home or vehicle. If she can get to find a job and have reliable transportation I believe that will help her tremendously. We are not put on this earth to serve ourselves but to help and serve others in their times of desperation. So I ask you find it in your heart to help me give this family a sense of hope during the Christmas season. Let’s help touch this families life and restore hope they desperately need! Mercy is what God gives us everyday so let’s extend his love and compassion for her and her children!Thank you for your kindness and may God bless you and your families. Take nothing nor no one for granted!
If you’re uncomfortable donating online you can send the donation to my Venmo (Troy-Hisel) or Apple Cash. I can transfer it from there into the GoFundMe fundraiser directly.
