We suffered major flood damage to our beloved home after the historical storm this past weekend. Our house and entire backyard were destroyed by a combination of the rain, our sump overflowing, and the collapse of Mill Pond and Blydenburgh Park. After spending hours and hours trying to save our home, there was just too much water pouring in at once, forcing us to evacuate. We have been forced to live in a hotel since with no sign of being able to return to our home any time soon.

As hard as this has been, it’s even more difficult having to do so while caring for our 2-year-old son, our stepfather, and our quadriplegic mother who has already been suffering from MS her entire life and the discovery of stage IV breast cancer in recent months. Our lives have been in shambles as of late and this detrimental storm was the cherry on top. Normally, I would never be comfortable to ask for help from anyone but at this point, we are desperate for a miracle. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
