Restore Hope: Aid for Fire-Affected Family
Donation protected
Today, 7/14/24 on the highway 82 near the exit 69 around 4:45 pm, my mother's van caught on fire.
My mother used this van to make extra income. My parents work in agriculture most of their lives, and they manage to save over the years to start a small business selling at flea markets here in Washington state to get by.
All their savings were put into this business selling toys, and everything was wiped out in a matter of minutes. We are devastated, but we thank God my mother got out on time.
I would like to thank the 2 samaritans that stop to help my mother get out because she couldn't get her buckle out once released she jumped into action trying desperately to save anything she could but the few items they managed to get out still caught on fire 'cause the blaze was too strong.
One of the samaritans took my mother out of that situation forcibly. I knew if he hadn't done it, I wouldn't have my mother today.
My mother is the greatest person and the most important person in my life, and she didn't deserve this. No one does.
I know times are hard for everyone, and all this makes it harder to ask you for help.
If you can help any way possible with anything or you can donate items lost like.
Folding tables they don't even have to be in great condition.
Big Bins to store toys
Traps to shade her from the sun.
Anything to bring her hopes up.
I don't want her to give up.
I want my mother to believe again that she can look forward to another day.
Please help me help her.
