️ Help Rebuild St. Elizabeth, Jamaica After Hurricane Mellisa

Hello everyone,

My name is Sherepha Ledgister. I am currently located in South Carolina. I am reaching out on behalf of my beloved family and community in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, who were devastated by Hurricane Mellisa. The powerful winds and relentless rain tore through our parish, leaving many homes roofless and, heartbreakingly, many families completely homeless.

My own family’s home, along with those of close friends and neighbors, was severely damaged. What once provided warmth, shelter, and safety has now been reduced to bare walls or, in some cases, nothing at all. Despite our efforts to patch and rebuild with what little we have, the need is overwhelming.

This fundraiser aims to help rebuild roofs, restore homes, and provide basic necessities like food, clothing, and bedding for those most affected. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference in helping families get back on their feet.

Jamaicans are a resilient people; we believe in community, faith, and hope. With your support, we can begin to restore not only homes but also the spirit of St. Elizabeth.

Thank you for your generosity, your prayers, and for standing with us during this heartbreaking time.
