Hello, all. I hope everyone reading this is doing well.

Long story short, earlier this year I started experiencing increasingly severe pain in my pelvic region which was later after a plethora of doctor and hospital visits and being sent back and forth between each finally diagnosed as pudendal neuralgia and possible chronic prostatitis.

I had to leave my job which forced me to move back in with my mother. She is a cancer survivor and it’s been my responsibility to help care for her these last several years, though I’ve struggled with doing so lately due to increased physical impairment on my part and of course a new lack of finances. I’ve done everything I can to continue to be there for her.

I’m trying to lock down a steady source of income, but I’ve also learned that my insurance won’t cover the treatments I need for my pudendal neuralgia. The most promising as far as I’m aware would be a cryoablation procedure, which out of pocket would cost me about $1,900. I’ve set a starter goal of less than half that, for now.

I’ve also been trying to find a new insurance provider, but so far none would cover this procedure, and with the rising cost of premiums I believe I am unlikely to afford a switch even if I do find one.

I’m not too proud to beg, especially considering everything that’s happened. More than anything, I fear for my mother, as this has not only impacted her care but it’s also strained our relationship. The constant pain I’m in has degraded my mental health and she’s taken notice.

Please, I need help getting some treatment to alleviate my pain and getting myself back on my feet, not just for my sake but for the sake of my family as well. Anything is immensely appreciated.
