GIVING GAGE HOPE!
- My name is Kristin I am a Mom of 3 boys who are amazing.
Three Years ago for christmas all Gage asked for was a computer. I got it for him put each peice in a diffrent present. It was awesome! And since then he. Has made friends and they have been working everyday for hours building or coding this game. He has characters some represent his brothers and other people In his life.
Gage has autism and has faced many challenges in life. He has found what he's good at and he wants to be a graphic designer and make video games. For 3 1/2 years, Gage has been working hard on a game himself and his friends have put so many hours into this game. The most amazing part is his team consists of about 5 kids from all around the world, and they all are children with autism.
When my son told me this, I cried because not only was I proud of him, but how awesome is it for these kids to have a group of friends somewhere they feel valued and appreciated? That's just a beautiful thing. About a month and a half ago, someone stole Gages computer . So they stole his entire game. He's heartbroken; he was so upset and has been quite depressed since this dirtbag thought it was a good idea to take my son's pride and joy and make him think and feel like his life is over. This game gave him so much happiness, he was so proud of what he was doing ...it hurts to see him so upset. And I don't know how to make it better..... So I want to get him a top-of-the-line computer and whatever else he needs to either redo his game or create another game. Since his last computer wasn't the greatest, I'm sure if he were to have the proper equipment, something that would normally take him a day or two he could complete in half the time and hopefully create something even better than the last. I want to thank everyone for taking the time to read our story. And thank everyone who has donated. And am asking EVERYONE TO PLEASE SHARE!
