Bringing Back a Piece of Tasmania’s Firefighting History

Hi everyone,

I’m fundraising to purchase and restore a 1980 International ACCO fire truck that once proudly served the George Town community in Tasmania. This truck helped protect local families for decades, and now I want to give it a second life.

If the truck ends up costing less than expected, any remaining funds will go straight into paint, repairs, and restoration.

I’m a Junior with the Tasmanian Fire Service and run Tasmanian Emergency Media. I already collect and preserve TFS history (helmets, badges, uniforms, and more) — and this truck will become the centrepiece of the collection.
