Our dear friends, David and Shannon Woods, lost their home and all their belongings yesterday in the Carr Fire that is sweeping through Redding, California. They got the evacuation call at 2am and left with minutes to spare with just the shirts on their backs. They made the move West two years ago from Panama City, Florida with high hopes and dreams to be fulfilled. That hasn’t changed. They are hopeful, happy to be alive, and happy to have each other.
