Restore Ed Rihacek's Art and Life Post-Hurricane

Donation protected
Ed Rihacek, a dear friend and amazing artist for Home Fabrics for over 40 years was personally impacted in the devastation from Hurricane Helene. Ed lives in Marshall, North Carolina and suffered a tragedy on an unimaginable scale. His life's artwork, current artwork, textile documents, over 1000 books plus all of his art supplies were destroyed by the river running through Marshall. A tree entered the window of his live/work space and the water entered the building though his place. Volunteers managed to help him start the clean up but there will be months left to properly rebuild. Ed did not have flood insurance as was the case for most artists in his building. No one ever thought the river would reach a foot from the ceiling. We are gathering around Ed as friends and coworkers to try and help ease his burden. Any support you can donate would be greatly appreciated. You are also welcome to donate directly to me if easier. The funds will be used for furniture, a new space away from the river and new art supplies.
Many thanks,
