Restore Donna's Salon and Spirit

I'm Candace, Donna's assistant for Mrs. Goodfoot. I've been extra busy the past three weeks notifying her Cayce location appointments of the fire to cancel their appointments. In my nearly year-long tenure working for Donna, I've witnessed how she blesses everyone she encounters, including her employees. Donna is a giving person who has been a blessing to me and others in times of need, as well as to our community. She exemplifies a strong work ethic and delivers phenomenal service to her clients. Every client I've talked to loves her, appreciates her service, and is sick about the fire in the beautiful, clean space she dreamed and created for them. Many have asked how they can help and asked for this fundraiser.

When I asked Donna if I could do this, she thought it over and finally decided to accept this gift. She said, "My personal tragedy in this tragedy is I'm unable to do what I love, caring for others. It's taken my gift from me. I should allow others to care for me, and if this is their gift to help, I'll let them."

I've witnessed Donna's breakdowns over the stress she's under dealing with insurance. This could take months for them to pay. All the salon equipment is damaged from smoke and water.
