Mary Nyaboke is a mother of extraordinary resilience. She lives with a physical disability that limits her mobility, yet every day she rises to care for her daughter, Lydia Kwamboka—who herself also faces a physical disability. Despite their strength and determination, life is an ongoing struggle for survival.
Mary and Lydia are not alone. They have taken in a young orphan girl who had nowhere else to turn. Together, they call themselves the “3 mask-a-tears”—a small family bound by love, courage, and hope, but lacking the basic resources to live with dignity.
Their daily challenges are overwhelming:
Food insecurity: some days, they go without meals.
Medical needs: Mary’s disability requires care and mobility support, while Lydia needs ongoing attention to manage her condition.
Education: Lydia and the young girl dream of school, but fees and supplies are often out of reach.
Home conditions: their shelter is in urgent need of upgrades to be safe and livable.
AbleHearts has launched this fundraiser to help Mary, Lydia, and the orphan girl meet these critical needs. Your donation will directly provide food, medical care, mobility support, school fees, and safe housing improvements.
Your gift is not just charity—it is dignity restored and hope renewed. It means that Mary can move with greater ease, that Lydia and the young girl can go to school, and that all three can sleep at night with food in their stomachs and a roof that does not leak.
No contribution is too small. Every act of kindness adds up to real change in their lives. Together, we can prove that giving knows no borders.
Please join us in supporting Mary and Lydia today. With your help, the “3 mask-a-tears” can face tomorrow with hope and strength.
Donate today and be part of restoring dignity in action.
