As some know, my father Daniel Masich, his girlfriend Jamie and kids decided to pick up their lives from Lockport, New York and move to Henderson, Nevada. This is something he always strived to do.

To make a living, my father is a Contractor and Electrician. My father was finally settling in, fixing their new home and becoming acclimated after the big move.

Unfortunately 2 days ago, someone stole his fully loaded 16ft trailer with his livelihood in it. Approximately $40,000 worth of tools was lost. Due to these circumstances, his financial situation is at a stand still. My father has to start from scratch, across the country from everything he has ever known. I can only imagine moving across the country was difficult enough in its own ways, but to have your livelihood stolen from you is a whole another level of difficult. My father posted his trailer all over Facebook and was even on Channel 3 News to spread the word of the trailer being stolen, but no luck. Chances are that his business insurance isn’t going to cover any of it as well.

My father is one of the hardest working people I have ever met, I’ve never known someone who puts as much effort as he does into his work. It breaks my heart to know that I can’t do anything from the distance, but this will hopefully help to get him back up on his feet.

Being that he’s just outside of Las Vegas and the police are preoccupied with much more violent crimes, I have low hopes for them actually pursuing this. Because of that, I feel it’s important to help him get a jump on his new successes.
