I live in Virginia and luckily was not affected by the hurricane. However, my son and daughter-in-law live in Dunedin and were affected by Hurricane Helene.

Water from the surges flooded their house and they lost all of their furniture and other belongings. They had flood insurance which will cover their house, but they did not have insurance for contents.

They are just starting out and expecting their first child and are currently living in temporary housing.

I am raising funds for the furniture, clothing, electronics, insurance deductible and other personal belongings they lost during the flood. SNN news actually did a story on them and their loss.
