Restore Citizenship Proof for a Safer Future
Donation protected
I'm reaching out with a heavy heart and a deep sense of urgency. For 32 years, I've held a valid U.S. passport, believing my citizenship was secure. However, I've recently learned that U.S. immigration authorities have no record of my citizenship. This revelation has left me feeling vulnerable and frightened.
Years ago, my original naturalization certificate was destroyed in a flood. At the time, I never imagined this loss would lead to such a serious issue. In an attempt to resolve the matter, I filed a request under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), hoping to retrieve documentation from federal records. The response I received stated that there are no records of my citizenship.
In seeking assistance, I've contacted Congresswoman Julia Brownley, who represents California's 26th District. Additionally, I've reached out to Senator Adam Schiff, who now serves as California's U.S. Senator. I plan to follow up with them this week. I've also contacted multiple government agencies, but I've encountered numerous challenges and delays.
Given the complexity and urgency of my situation, I am raising funds to hire an immigration lawyer who can help me navigate this process and restore my citizenship status. Any support you can offer—whether through a donation or by sharing my story—would mean the world to me. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
