Restore Christine Frias' Family After The Eaton Fire

Dear Friends, Family, and Colleagues,

Our hearts are heavy as we reach out to you on behalf of our beloved co-worker and friend, Christine Frias. Christine, a dedicated member of the County of Los Angeles family, and her husband, Rommel, recently suffered a devastating loss when their home of 16 years was destroyed in the Eaton Fire.

Imagine losing everything – the place where your family has made memories, the comforting space you call home. This is the reality Christine, Rommel, and their two children, Aadyn (9) and Ayla (6), are now facing. Despite this unimaginable hardship, Christine and Rommel are demonstrating incredible strength and resilience. They are bravely navigating the difficult process of rebuilding their lives while striving to maintain a sense of normalcy and optimism for their children. Their dog (Eggs) and bearded lizard (Mochi) are also doing everything they can to keep their owners’ spirits up.

As their work family, we want to rally around them and offer our support during this incredibly challenging time. Rebuilding after such a loss is a long and arduous journey, both emotionally and financially. This GoFundMe has been created to help Christine and Rommel with the immediate and long-term expenses they now face, including supporting Aadyn and Ayla as they adjust to this difficult change.
