Restore Chowder House: Your Help Needed

For 16 years Chowder House has been serving our community in the Cuyahoga Falls and Akron area. While participating in local events, fundraisers and getting through Covid restrictions we have been fortunate for our customers being there to support us as well. We now ask for your help. As many of you know the property we are on was recently renovated. While the construction was going on we experienced a large decline in business. It put a strain on us financially but we were able to push through it. Most recently the massive heat caused us to loose the capability of our 2 major coolers as well as one of our interior air conditioning units. This caused us to loose nearly all of our food supplies. We unfortunately have been closed for a week except for a few hours of service Saturday night. We ask for your donations in order to reopen fully and continue to serve you as we have all these years. As a family ran business all proceeds will go to paying staff, repairs and resupplying the restaurant. This is a difficult request but our options are very limited at this time.
