My girlfriend, Chani, has a huge problem.
Her vehicle (a 2019 Kia Soul) has a severe engine issue.
A close friend who is also a mechanic looked at it & determined it needs a whole new engine. That is a $4500 job (at least).
We both rely on our cars to do our jobs.
As you may know, I am a salesman for a craft beer distributor.
She is a master-of-many house cleaner, nanny, caretaker, & humanitarian.
Needless to say, her jobs dwarfs mine in matters of import & difficulty.
She is a saint. One of the sweetest people I've ever met. And I love her.
I do not have the requisite money to pay for this and, without her car, she cannot raise the funds, either.
I am here to ask anyone who has met her & cares about her for any help they can provide.
We do not ask for mountains of money.
You know me. I don't ask for anything from people; aside from patience for my ever-chaotic brain.
But I love her & believe wholeheartedly that she is a one-in-a-million type of human.
Any support you can provide would be infinitely appreciated.
She is kind, loving, empathetic, self-sacrificing & incredibly thoughtful.
And without her vehicle she feels helpless & broken without the ability to make a living or help the myriad people she loves & works with.
She owes well more than what the repairs will cost, so trading it in is not an option. Nor should it be.
It is only 6 years old & she is religious in taking care of her vehicle (as it is the lynchpin of her income).
With all that said, any help you can provide would be incredibly appreciated!
I love her, incredibly, and would do anything to make her life better. I simply don't have the financial ability to pay for a new engine any more than she does.
So, if you see this as a worthwhile cause (helping someone who helps so many others), I would be otherworldly appreciative of your help!
Thanks for taking the time to read this far.
My love & thanks to any who can help in this overwhelming situation.
Your friend,
Chris
