(This is the hardest thing I've ever done.) One never knows where the road will lead. The pandemic hit Cath and Peggy in an unexpected way when Cath's job ended. This eventually forced early retirement for her. A few months later, they found themselves searching for a new rental home with only their Social Security as income. In these years following, they have encountered many different things: surgeries, other physical challenges, car issues and then theft, veterinary bills, rental increases and other financial strains. God has provided as needs have arisen. In times of a tight budget, they have put off dental care, but can no longer do this. Both are in need of major procedures and cannot seem to find the finances to pay for them. Though asking for help, especially financial, has never been easy, they especially did not want to start a Go Fund Me. Cath had a friend who told her that those who care about her would want to know about this need. That didn't convince her. Then another friend reminded her of a time that Cath encouraged her to consider how her decision about something might actually be giving people the opportunity to step up and give. It was tough to hear one's own words returned and not respond. Peggy and Cath are trusting God for all of this, whether it's through this means or another. Your gift, even if only your prayers, is so very much appreciated, even more than you know!
