My name is Carrol Rosado and I have been working hard as a teacher and a cashier/sandwich maker, to make ends meet so that I may be able to fix up the house I love. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to gather the funds to make that happen. My roof needs fixing and because I'm not a very knowledgeable homeowner, the plumbing on my roof is in serious need of repair. I had my hot water line break and it was under the ground, well, I failed to call my insurance and had it repaired by someone I thought knew what they were doing. Sadly, they didn't and I have been struggling with this for the past couple of years. I have had to shut off the water in my house because a leak, from the roof, flooded my bedroom, soaking the walls in my room & kitchen, as they share the wall. Thankfully, my son and daughter in law let my son and I go over and shower at there place. My insurance doesn't want to cover the repairs of the pipes because they aren't covered in my policy. I have the water lines covered by warranties but they only cover from my house to the street. The claims adjuster basically called me stupid when I explained what was going on with my house's plumbing. This same insurance company has a membership fee that if not paid, they no longer insure you, as your membership fee keeps your policy active. I am hoping to receive some help from the good people out there in the world, who understand what I'm going through and also receive outside help.
