Restore Braly's Barber Den: Support Shawn and Edgar

On July 23rd 2024, a man kicked the door in at Braly's Barber Den in downtown Goshen, Indiana. They stole all of Shawn and Edgar's barbering equipment, a variety of collectibles, a fair amount of cash, the shop computer, shop merchandise and a plethora of personal items. Unfortunately, our insurance plan only covers damage and personal injury, therefore we will not be compensated for any of the items that were stolen. Not only is this a devastating loss, but it is also requiring that we replace all of the stolen items out of our own pocket. It is with a heavy heart that we have to ask for assistance from our community so that we may replace what was stolen and restore the barber shop.

Shawn, the owner of Braly's Barber Den, is a Marine Veteran with a wife and two daughters. He is and incredibly kind, generous and hardworking small business owner. He does his best to provide a safe, comfortable and unique experience to his customers. He goes out of his way to make others feel good. He is an upstanding citizen and an involved member of the Goshen community.

Edgar just celebrated his 1 year anniversary working at Braly's Barber Den. Edgar and his wife are local to Goshen and have 6 beautiful children. He is a staple in our shop and has grown so much over the last year as a Barber. He is adored by his community!

It is our hope that we can raise enough funds to replace the barbering equipment, replace the door, and install a proper security system. We do have cameras in the shop and were able to get footage of the robbery, however one camera was broken and needs replaced.
