The Kherson Regional Universal Library was destroyed in 2023, yet librarians continue to work as Kherson continues to be attacked daily. The librarian, Tetiana Svatula tells the story of destruction of her library in this article ; and is the main contact in Kherson.

The fundraiser began in 2024; in the Spring $1360 raised by that time were used to purchase 18 Braille books collections which currently serve visually impaired children in Kherson. The fundraiser continues with an aim to renovate the Kherson library collections for the blind; and help purchasing supporting technology.
