Restore Barbara's Home and Hope

My dear friend, Barbara Pearson Douglas, has had massive damages to her home in Spruce Pine, NC during the recent hurricane. She and her son Kalen have nowhere to live at this time. Barbara is a teacher in Mitchell County and is in need of help ASAP. Her home was flooded and filled with mud; she lost all her appliances, heaters, furniture, and everything else that was in the basement and the first floor. She received help with gutting the first floor, but the basement is still filled with mud. The floors, drywall, and other structures will need to be replaced. In addition, new appliances will have to be purchased as well as everyday household items. Please help Barbara and her son return to their home where they've resided for over 20 years.
