[UPDATE] 1/2 of all proceeds will go directly to Akimbo Bookshop!

Akimbo Books and by extension my close friend Emiliano Diaz (@anoxxix) have been deeply impacted by a 3 alarm fire which broke out on East Avenue in the early morning of January 4th in the building housing this bookshop and Emi’s art work; which depicts iconic buildings in the city of Rochester. Emi’s paintings experienced heavy smoke damage and it is unclear if and how they will be salvaged.

Fresh off a feature at the Rochester Contemporary Art Gallery’s (RoCo) ‘State of The City Expo’ and a segment on Channel 13 WHAM news, Emi has been building momentum and cementing himself within the local art community as an artist to watch. This is devastating timing and I hope our community can come together to support such a promising artist.

Proceeds will go towards restoration efforts and Akimbo Bookshop!
