Restore Rebuild Mandarava Cave in Tso Pema
Donation protected

On the 15th of May 2022, in Tso Pema - Rewalsar in India , Princess Mandarava lower
cave burned down due to a fire caused by the excess of butter lamps and a problem with
electrical cables that caused a cut circuit.
The most incredible aspect of this unfortunate incident is that everything burned, except Princess Mandarava statue and shrine, which is a living proof that what is truly sacred will never be destroyed...
The day before Vesak, the small cave where many go to pay homage and pray to Mandarava, the beautiful Indian princess who represents the divine aspect of the feminine essence and was the first consort of Guru Padmasambhava, burned and was destroyed by the flames.
This place of worship and great symbolism for many Buddhist practitioners was built and maintained by Lho Ontul Rinpoche and until today has been open thanks to Rinpoche kindness and tremendous generosity, but in this very complicated moment that the world is going through, it is very difficult to have budget to cover the costs of rebuilding the cave where the beautiful Princess Mandarava remains. For this reason, we kindly request your support to our cause.

We humbly request your generosity to be able to finish the rebuilding works and prepare the cave to receive again all those who want to pay homage to the Indian Princess that remain always in our hearts for her tremendous kindness, joy and bliss.
