Support Our Snack Bar & Kayak Rental Post-Flood

In August 2021, I embarked on a journey to create a unique family-operated Snack Bar and Kayak Rental on the picturesque west side of the Hudson River in the Lower Hudson Valley, NY. Our spot has since become a haven for families, adventurers, and nature lovers, offering breathtaking views of the Palisades and access to miles of serene hiking trails.

The January 13th, 2024, Flood

Our business was severely hit by a flood, causing extensive damage to all major appliances in the snack bar and destroying the infrastructure of our kayak rental, including kayaks and life vests.

Our Response

While our seasonal business means many are still unaware of the extent of the damage, we've taken the first steps towards recovery, including consulting repair specialists and discarding unsalvageable items. However, the path to full restoration is long and filled with challenges.

Our Plea

We're setting a fundraising goal of $5,000 to replace essential equipment, repair damages, and enhance our resilience against future calamities. This fund will directly support:
