Help Ahmed Rebuild His Life and Career After War and Displacement in Gaza

My name is Ahmed Al-Hasanat. I’m a 25-year-old multimedia graduate from the University of Palestine, and the eldest son in a family of five. I used to work in the field of 3D design—a career I built with passion and dedication, one that gave me purpose and allowed me to support my loved ones.

But everything changed with the war.

We lived in northern Gaza, where I had my home, my workspace, and the equipment I’d collected over the years: a 3D printer, screens, and the tools I needed to bring creative ideas to life. When the war broke out, we were forced to flee. Like thousands of others, my family and I had to walk for miles, leaving everything behind. We are now displaced in the south, living in a makeshift tent with barely any food or clean water.

The conditions here are heartbreaking. Famine is spreading. We often go to sleep hungry. Access to clean drinking water is limited, and diseases are spreading rapidly in overcrowded camps. Each day is a struggle for survival. There is no electricity, no internet, and no sense of security. And yet, like many young Palestinians, I try to hold onto hope.

All my work tools—everything I had built with years of effort—were destroyed or lost during the displacement. I no longer have the equipment I need to earn a living or even express myself creatively. My dream of working in 3D design has been put on hold, not by choice, but by war.

I created this GoFundMe to ask for your support. I am raising funds to:

• Repurchase the 3D design equipment I lost, including a 3D printer, screens, and design tools.

• Travel to a safe location where I can live, work, and support my family.

• Help provide basic needs for my parents and younger siblings during this time of crisis.
