Hi! My name is Kara, but many call me Ms. Kara. My life’s passion is to teach music to anyone who wants to learn, regardless of race, religion, sexual identification, abilities, and disabilities. We specifically cater to Autism, employing two Autistic Specialist Teachers. My two rules are that everyone has fun and gets to create joy through the healing power of music.

For 24 years, I have been chronically disabled while working full-time. Currently, I have been in and out of the hospital for the past 5 weeks. Recently, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. I have lost 60% of my vision, my chronic pain has doubled, and I am now undergoing intensive procedures to hopefully restore my vision and health. I am told this procedure will be needed for the rest of my life. After opening my sister nonprofit organization and my business, I am seeking financial assistance to aid me in paying for my medical bills and lost wages. I truly want to heal so I can return to my purpose; working with my students and making musical magic. There’s nowhere else I’d rather be than with them, sipping tea, and making music.
