Hi everyone,
Many of you know me through my work as a breast sonographer for the past 18+ years. I’ve stood beside countless women during some of the hardest moments of their lives—hearing diagnoses, facing surgeries, and navigating the long road of healing after breast cancer. This isn’t just a career for me; it’s personal. I’ve seen the strength it takes to fight this battle, and I’ve also witnessed the emotional and physical healing that continues long after survival.
That’s why I’m taking the next step in my journey. I am working toward becoming certified in areola restorative tattooing, a specialized service that helps breast cancer survivors feel whole again after mastectomy and reconstruction. This type of tattooing is not about beauty—it’s about restoration, confidence, and reclaiming identity. My goal is to offer these services to survivors—especially those who may not be able to afford it.
Right now, I’ve been accepted into a professional training program, but the cost is higher than I anticipated. I’m asking for support to help cover tuition, supplies, and certification so I can bring this healing service to the women who truly need it. This is more than training—this is part of my purpose. If you feel called to donate, share, or support in any way, I am deeply grateful. And if you or someone you love has been affected by breast cancer, please know this work is being built with you in mind.
Thank you for helping me turn compassion into action.
With love,
Jess
