Help Mrs. Goins Restore Kulage Home Damaged by Speeding Cars

Please Donate to Support my Mom in restoring the perimeter wall surrounding her home.
Hi, my name is Carmen Gamble and I am fundraising for my mom, Katherine Goins, age 83, who is on a fixed income and who is the owner of the Kulage House #74 Landmark (built in 1876) (https://www.stlouis-mo.gov/government/departments/planning/cultural-resources/city-landmarks/Kulage-House.cfm) located at 1904 E. College Avenue, at the corner of E. College & Conde St. A brick perimeter wall surrounds the home, which was severely damaged on March 4, 2024, by individuals driving two speeding cars who ran stop signs, left the scene, and both cars had no insurance.
Katherine, who has preserved her landmark home since purchasing 51 years ago is at risk of losing her homeowners insurance and increased premiums if she files a claim. Katherine’s lifelong goal is to maintain the Kulage House and continue to beautify the College Hill neighborhood with her home possessing a majestic and unique architectural structure. Your donation would be most appreciated to restore the perimeter wall damaged by individuals who were speeding. These speeders are impacting our community and like my mom and other residents- after multiple insurance claims results in homeowner’s premiums increasing or risking being dropped by their insurance companies.
