Uninsured fire victim starting over

I’ve lived above Papa J’s restaurant in Carnegie for over 6 years. I was told I was being let go two weeks before fire broke out. I lost almost everything in the fire due to debris water and fire damage. The fire started the night of March 2, 2018. I was uninsured and unemployed. Supportive friends have given me a room while I try to rebuild.

My building caught fire March 2nd while I was out and my cat was home alone. The Fire and burned through the night and destroyed the roof and top floors. Dropping burning debris and doused with hours of water from the fire hoses. Burning and falling debris litters the bottom floor that was Papa J’s. I lived directly above Papa J’s on the second floor. A friend called me to let me know they had seen building above Papa Js was on fire. After realizing the severity, I rushed to the scene where several area fire departments had gathered to battle against the flames for hours and through the night. The fire started about 10:20 pm and I first arrived around 11:30 pm. I was last there about 4:00 am and the roof was still on fire. This is when Carnegie firefighters went back in and rescued my cat Shadow. It is a total loss of everything in my apartment. I did not have renters insurance, unfortunately. I could use any help you can spare. I had just lost my job two weeks prior and have been trying to maintain a job search while I take care of everything and start trying to build back a new home.
