Rest up Brandon , WE GOT YOU! #BScho
Most of us don't ever think it could ever happen to us.....the unthinkable tragedy of someone we love suddenly fighting for their life! One minute we are vicariously going through life enjoying all that God has given us and than boom life as we know it is turned upside down. We can ask over and over why him why my son why my brother why my father why my friend? But the truth is it can happen to any of us and asking why or focusing on the what if's and the whys will only make the struggle harder.
On December 17th the evening before my Brandon’s 35th birthday, He had a seizure. 911 was called and he was taken to Sanford medical center by ambulance in Fargo. He was later admitted from the ER for routine medical monitoring.Things quickly went from bad worse when Brandon fell into a coma the next day ( his Birthday! )Brandon has been in that coma since. Fighting for his life. They have been unable to Maintain his blood pressure and has since also been diagnosed with two infections. After 13 long days on a ventilator they had to put in a trake for breathing and feeding tube into his stomach
Brandon is a magnificent chef and loves to cook for all his family and friends! He also enjoys spending his time skateboarding and being at the lake with his father.
Brandon is a father to his 8 year old son Grayson, a pet father to 2 cats ( Jaws and Romeo ) and his fish, a son, an uncle, a brother to many and a good friend to whom all love him dearly.
It is unclear at this time after 23 days in a coma what the future holds for him.
Brandon's medical bills are mounting along with rent and utilities.
His mother, sisters and brothers live in Bismarck and have been traveling and staying in hotels through this as well as taking off work.
Come on let’s pull together and show Brandon we are here for him! We love him and he WILL get through this!
If you feel called to help please donate what you can, anything is appreciated and will help lessen the burden. Donations will be used to pay medical and life expenses for Brandon and his family.
Thank you for all your prayers!
