I am a close family friend to Annette and Jay.

Unfortunately, yesterday we lost our beautiful Jay after a long fight with mental health. Jay was a wonderful, kind, compassionate and empathetic soul who carried his emotions, and others’, on his sleeve. He would do anything to help those around him. He loved deeply, but that also impacted his mental health in return.

I have created this page as a relief for Jay’s mum, Annette, who has devoted her life to her son and now needs our help to lay Jay to rest and take the time to grieve.

Annette is a single parent, and Jay was her only son. She only has casual employment, which doesn’t cover time away from work to deal with everything she now has to face, along with funeral costs, mortgage repayments, and everyday living expenses. With no one else to help carry these financial responsibilities, the burden is incredibly heavy.

Any donation, big or small, would mean the world and go directly towards supporting Annette during this incredibly difficult time.
